This is a wave simulator for 3D waves in a plane (so pretty much 2D waves). Since I'm still figuring out how the math and physics behind it work it might not be 100 % correct, but so far it doesn't look too far off. At every location there is a vector, and every update each vector is influenced by it's neighbors. The different colors (red, green, blue) represent the components of this vector, with gray representing the zero vector.
The window is divided into three regions with different index of refraction. The borders are visible only after spawning a wave.
